Rocks Collection

Description

A wide variety of rocks from igneous, metamorphic, and sedimentary types can be found in the Rocks Collection. The collection is kept in a wooden box and is arranged in a tray with 50 specimens that is divided into sections. For preservation, each item is given a unique number and placed within a clear plastic bag. These bags can be opened for a more thorough investigation. Labels matching to each specimen are located inside the box lid and include geological designations for quick identification. This collection offers a wide variety of rocks for researching geological characteristics and improving knowledge of the composition and history of the Earth. It also acts as a reference and instructional resource.
